DEATH FROM EXPOSURE.
DUNEDIN, Sept. 5. JiarJy on Tuesday morning, tfhile proceeding to work, a sawmill hand named Kobert Poultney discovered the body of a woman lying dead beside some scrub 911 the Houipapa road at Catlms investigation proved that it was that or Mrs \\ m. Johnston, of Houipapa. On the previous evening Mrs Johnston was canvassing in aid of church funds, and on making her way home had evidently fainted and perished. At the mqiiest a verdict was returned that death was the result of exposure caused by a fainting fit rendering the deceased incapable of getting alsistan«e.
