OVATION TO FRANK HUTCHENS.

Sydney paper* just to hand refer enthusiastically to a brilliant success scored by Frank Hutchens at last Thursday s concert of the Sydney Orchestral Society, in the Town Hall. Referring to the i\ew Zealander's performance of Liszt s "Fantasie Hongroise." the Herald says: "The youthful player received an absolute ovation; he was recalled seven' times, and the large audience was not satisfied until part of the v I'-antasie had been repeated." The Telegraph also, in the course of its report says: "Tho last theme, enunciated against plucked strings, is richly ornamented, and in these big glissando passages and sparkling runs and trills in the, treble, the pianist simply revelled. Theorchestral support was decidedly good, so that the ensemble produced the highest note of enthusiasm of the night "
