GERMAN WIRELESS ENTERPRISE.

The Times' Berlin correspondent, referring to the scheme to influence the foreign press, states that it is the ambition of Germany to be independent of English cables, and with this object attempts are being made to ■establish wireless communication "between Neuen (Germany) and Togo (on *he Gold Coast, West Africa), and between Togo and the Cameroons. .• It is also proposed to establish a German wireless chain in the South Seas, and a station will be built at Samoa with a range of three thousand kilometres. There will be a station at New Guinea and the Marshall Islands, all connected through-the Dutch cable. Re--oent experiments have stimulated these schemes, as it is reported that connection has been established between Hanover and Tuekerton (United States), a distance of 6600 kilometres.
