NAPIER, August 1. A building at the Clive used as a skating rink, was totally destroyed by fire yesterday. There was no water supply, but a bucket brigade prevented the flames from spreading to a bakery adjoining. The insurances on the building (owned by J. A. Weatherell) is £275 in the New Zealand"; piano and skates, £40 in the National.
