(Received Aug. 1, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, July 31. Prince Palatine was regarded as a certain winner of the Goodwood Cup. He carried a lot of money, but cracked up and made no show. He was very groggy when pulled up and is reported to have hit himself in the race. Catmint's victory was due to Maher's clever riding.
