CATHOLIC SOCIAL.
The Catholic- social which was held in the Foresters' Hall on Wednesday evening wa-s an unprecedented success, and in every way thoroughly enjoyed by the large number of couples present. The hall had been artistically decorated with ferns, dainty curtains, and mirrors, reflecting credit on those responsible for the arrangements. Mo'osman's Orchestra supplied excellent music for the dancing, while the floor was in first-rate order. Extras were played by Mrs W. A. Quin, Misses Mackie (Stratford), Moosman, Dunn. Boyd and Mr Green. The duties of M.Cs were in the cap a hie hands of Messrs F. O'Connor and W. Tan-ant. A sumptuous supper was provided by the ladies. The social was arranged by Mrs Roche, who had the assistance of several ladies, and the. proceeds will be devoted to a fund for the erection of a new schoolroom.
