AUCKLAND, June 16. A meeting of the Watersiders' Union at ■ which 400 were • present, resolved that, a ballot should be taken on the following questions: Are you in favor of making common cause in a" united fight against the recognition of scab unionism on the water front ports of this country, as existing at the present time at Timaru, and for restitution of the 1913 agreement? Are you in favor of no action being taken ? The ballot takes place on Wednesday and Thursday and the result will be sent to ths Federation, which will be guided as to its future policy by the expression of opinion of the unions concerned.
