FEDERAL REFERENDA.
"YES" NOW LEADS.
■X CABLB—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received June 5, 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, June o. The referenda position is altered. "Yes" has a majority on all questions on the total vote, and is leading in four States. These are the two conditions required for the success of the proposals, but it is too early yet to regard the result as certain. Many thousand votes are still in doubt, the counting of absentee votes proceeding slowly. It is unlikely that the complete figures for the election will be available before the end of nevt week. The delay caused by absentee votes is illustrated by the fact that at Sydney Town Hall votes were polled for every electorate in the Commonwealth with' the exception of one. These have to be sent by post.
