LONDON, May 19. Hansen^ the American actor, who icreated a scene at the Garrick Theatre, was charged at Bow street with using threatening language to Mr Arthur Bourchier. Mr Bodkin, K.C., ■prosecuting, said that Hansen's violent threats and abominable language had caused Bourchier- to fear bodily harm. The police gave evidence of Hansen's extraordinary behaviour when arrested and that it took four men to search him. Hansen, who was handcuffed, accused Bourchier of swindling nim of £10,000. Hansen, who was still excited, explained that his condition was due to a pending civil action, and his condition led the Magistrate to remand him in custody.
