LONDON WOOL SALES.
(Received April 24, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 23. At the wool sales there is good comrpetition. for all sorts and opening rates are fully maintained.
WELLINGTON, April 24. The High Commissioner's cable message, dated London, April 22, says that the wool sales have commenced and the market is firm, but not advanced. Buy- ■ ers' are cautious and Americans are waiting for definite information concerning the. Tariff Bill. Good demand .■continues for Home and Continental •and business is in excellent condition and prospects are favorable.
