PENSIONS FOR MOTHERS.
LONDON, April 15. i One of the American States, Ohio, has passed an Act providing for the payment of pensions to mothers. The object of the new law is to enable poor women to bring up their children properly. Tha payments will be at the rate of £3 3d 4u a raontu for one child, and £1 9s 2d moatiiiv for each tiuclicional otfcpimg.
