BULGARIANS CLOSING IN ON ADRIANOPLE.
The Turks at yesterday's sortie at Aidrianople lost twelve guns. The Bulgarians are now within three to five miles of the fortress, and are fortifying their position. f Adffanople is 130 miles from Con■sfantinople, and about 20 miles from Jue Bulgarian frontier. It is an important trading centre, with about 70,000 inhabitants.. After the capture of tho Turkish army defending the Shipka Pass in 1878, the Russians eniered Adrianople unopposed, and an Armistice was concluded. Tho town is vr&ll fortified.]
