HORSE FAIR.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency. Company (Limited) to-day commenced its supplementary horse fair at Tattersall's, Hawera. ".A good number of useful horses came forward, while there was a satisfactory attend- ; anceof buyers. The range of prices, up to twelve o'clock, for draughts, was as follows: £21, £35, and £40. There was a fair demand,. for the better.-class of animals offered. Half-draughts and unbroken hacks were sold at prices rul- " ing at prei'ious fairs. •
