AN UNTRUTHFUL CONFESSION
George Ward, who according to a cable message on October 9, had surrendered himself to the police and confessed to having strangled a girl named Nora Grey on the Yarmouth beach, has been discharged, us the police proved ho was imprisoned in Lincolnshire at the time the crime was committed.
