BELGRADE, Oct. 23. . It is officially stated that there has tuirfii severe fighting round the town <or" Novi Bazar, where the Servians ocoupy the commanding heights. The Turks at Kumanovo destroyed the chief bridge, and many smaller ones •over the Maritza were also destroyed, "'but the Servian sappers repaired them.

The second army corps has occupied Straenica, half-way between Egri Pall an ka and Kumanovo.
