TURKISH FORCE AMBUSHED
SOFIA, Oct. 23. A Turkish force, advancing to relieve Djumaibala, entered the Kresna Pass unaware that two thousand insurgents w«re concealed there. The latter blew up ihe bridge over the Str urna at the foot of the pass. Confusion followed, and many Turks were drowned. A thousand oft'i--«ers and men, three Krupp guns and one machine gun were captured.
