AUCKLAND, Oct. 23

The New Zealand cadets returned by the Zealandia to-day. Escorted by 700 to 800 local cadets, and headed by the regimental band, they marched to the Town Hall, where they were accorded a civic welcome. Amid a scene of great enthusiasm the Mayor welcomed the lads, who had done such valiant things across the sea, and said the boys wi:o had been the guests of the Canadian Government, had been treated handsomely-
