GREYMOUTH, August 2. lhe steamer Flora, which left Greymouth yesterday afternoon for Westport, and arrived there last evening, reports having sighted a dead whale, 70 feet long, and standing out seven feet above the water. The captain informed the harbor authorities here by telephone that the whale is in the track of the shipping, and when sighted was off Barry town.
