(Received July 15, 11.30 a.m.) STOGKHLOM, July 14. In the inter-polo final England beat Austria by 9 goal to nil. Sweden secured first and second prizes in the ladies' high plain diving, Isabel White (Britain) being third.
Representatives of foreign nations told Mr William Henry, secretary of the Lite-Saving Society, that they no longer viewed British swimmers as .world beaters, and in selecting teams they paid special regard to Americans and Australians.
Platt Adams won the standing high jump, negotiating 1.63 metres.
