An exolosion of flour dust wrecked a mill at Madgeburg. Four persons were killed and ten injured.

SYDNEY, July 13
An Australian choir of 120 voices yisits England in 1913, arriving in June. Mr Hanley Hobson, of the Toowoomba Philoarmonic Society, has been appointed conductor.
Numerous senior cadets were fined £5 and costs for failing io comply with the compulsory service clause of the Defence"1 Act.
One father claimed exemption on religious scruples, and quoted a clause in the constitution. The magistrate held that he was dealing with the Defence .Act. The father gave notice of appeal.
