AVELLINGTON. July 12. Ihe Court to-day considered the case ot Rex v. Weston. The question raised was the existence or extent of corroboration of the evidence of the two main witnesses for the Crown. Prisoner was convicted for performing an illegal operation on one of the said witnesses at the request of the other main witness. Mr AY. H. D. Bell apearepd torn the prisoner, and the Solicitor-Generar tor the Crown. The Court unanimously arnrmed the conviction.

The Court then adjourned until Monday.
