GISBORNE, July 12. At the inquest on Josenh Denton, an old man, who died suddenly at Poriawa, the jury returned a verdict that deceased died from a foreign body, probably a piece of decayed tooth or shell from tbe beach doub.e the size of a pin's bead, which had lodged in the right lung, causing stoppage of the resoiratory process. The jury expressea the opinion that tbe foreign matter was probably inhaled while deceased was employed on the stone crusher.
