Mr Asquith. in reply to a Belfast Chamber of Commerce denutation regarding Home Rule, remarked that the deputation did not indicate in what respects the safeguards were inadequate.. It was unprofitable to argue the question while t'->ey maintained that no safeguards would reconcile them to an Irish Parliament.
