GISBORNE, June 27. The Terawhiti is engaged to-day in laying anchors from the Star of Canada and it is not expected that pumping will be commenced before Saturday. Mr J. Daniels, the Union Company's salvage expert, will arrive on Saturday morning to assist in the operations.
