Races run under the Rules of New Zealand Trotting. 2. All races optional saddle or harness. 3. All horses must be registered with the New Zealand Trotting Association prior to nomination. 4. Nominations must be accompanied by necessary fees; otherwise they will be rejected. Also age, sex, and color of horses and colors to be worn by rider. 5. Nomination must contain last \ three performances (winning or losing). The omission of compliance with this condition renders the nomination invalid. See Rules. 6. All disputes and objections arising out of the racing shall be settled by the Judicial Committee. (See Rule 84.) 7. Riders and drivers must weigh out in full jockey's colors and breeches. (See Rule 226.) 8. Protests must be accompanied by a deposit of £5, and must be in the hands of the Secretary within 10 minutes of the decision of the race. The deposit fee is forfeited to the Trotting Association should the objection be dismissed. 9 Drivers and riders mustoresent at scale current season's licenses. 10. All horses must be driven or ridden out to the satisfaction of the Patrol Stewards. Note.—Nominations for all events will close on Wednesday, June 19, 1912 at 8 p.m., at the Secretary's Office, Regent street, Hawera. Handicaps will appear on or abou* Wednesday, June 26.
