LONDON, June 25
There was an angry scene in the House of Commons at question time, Mr -George Lansbury (Labor) resenting a ■statement by Mr Asquith that suffragists could be released immediately if they undertook not to repeat their offences.
Mr Lansbury went over to the Treasury bench and shook his fist in the faces ■of Ministers and screamed: "You should be turned out of office and go xlown to posterity as the torturers of women!"
The Speaker reauested Mr Lansbury to leave, but he refused . He was thrice warned, whereupon some Labor members prevailed on Mr Lansbury to with*_raw.
