POULTRY AWARDS.

PALMERSTON N., June 26

For the second day of the winter show the weather was brilliant in the morning, but became a little overcast at noon. There is a large attendance, the principal attraction being the annual football contest between Wanganui and Te Aute Colleges, in which great interest is centred.

Poultry judging is proceeding, the principal prize-takers in these being a follows:—Game Bantams, S. Curd and G. Parry; Rosecombs, B. C. McCormick and G. C. Thornton ; Pekin and Seabrights, W. W. Adams; Orpingtons, E. Hodgson, C. Armstrong, A. E. Stone and W. A. Sowman; Leghorns, E. Jones, B. C. McCormick, E. H. Holland and J. D. Iremonger; Minorcas, J. H. Hopkins.
