A conference of all commanding offi cers m the Wellington Military District will be held at Palmerston North on Saturday. Tlie classes of instruction for o#* cers of the 11th Taranaki Regiment will be started again next month. Theseclasses have been proved to be extremely beneficial, all the officers attending them having passed their examinations, and passed well. Tlie Hawera Senior Cadets held a successful para.V on Tuesday erenine; under Captain Brunt. '
