EXPLOSION OF MOLTEN BRASS.

NEW PLYMOUTH, June 25. A young man named Wood, employed by Okey and Rollo, sustained "a rather severe accident yesterday afternoon. He dropped a cold block of brass into a pot of molten brass, and an explosion immediately followed. He was badly burnt about the facp and head. He was attended to by Dr Walker, and subsequently taken home.
