RAIN DELAYS PLAY. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, June 25. Rain is falling, and the resumption of the cricket match has been delayed. (Received June 27, 10 a.m.) LONDON, Juno 26. The weather was cloudy and misty, and play was resumed at 10.30 on *a softish wicket, the attendance being 6,000. Emery and Hazlitt were the bowlers. Woplley filled the vacancy. Fry (41) put up a very weak defence. Wooley scored 8 in 20 minutes. The Englishmen had lost four wickets for 241 when rain interrupted play.
