BOXER ASSAULTS A REFEREE.
PARIS, June 24. In a boxmc; match at Dieppe between Bernard and Evenden, the latter was disqualified in the second round. He was apparently on the point of being knocked out when he struck the referee, and his second also jumped into the ring and assaulted the referee, whereupon the police interfered.
