EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY

AUCKLAND, June 24. Sympathy has been expressed from one end of the colony to the other with the relatives of the late Sir John Logan Campbell, and the acting-Mayor has received many official telegrams condoling ,vith the city in the loss of its most honored citizen. Lady Campbell, has among a host of condolences, received mesages of sympathy from the Governor and Lady Islington, and . the Prime Minister and Sir Joseph Ward. The Cost of Living Commission also expressed sympathy with Auckland iti its loss of Sir John Logan Campbell.
