OKAIAWA I. (8) v. PATEA I. (6).
Having to travel, Okaiawa could not get their full team away, and got home victors by a narrow margin. The day was rought and stormy, so that passing rushes were not much in evidence. Considering everything, however, the play was not bad. Okaiawa scored two tries, one of which was converted, and Patea two tries, both unconverted.
