RAILWAY PORTER KILLED

TAIHAPE, June 24. A railway porter named A. Old was foiled at Ohakune station on Saturday -evening while shunting. It is supposed he tnped over a stopblock, and was struck on the head l>y an empty wa.£gon, the wheels of which ran over his shoulder. He leaves a widow and two children.
