J(~ MONDAY, JUNE 24. The Government Meteorologist telegraphed at 1 p.m. to-day as follows: Winds veering to southerly; strong ■winds to gale at times; expect showery -*and changeable weather; probably a very cold night; glass rise slowly, but lall after 36 hours.
