LONDON, June 22. The Liverpool-Leeds express jumped the rails near Hebden Bridge. Three carriages were telescoped and four people were killed (one being decapitated), and twenty injured.
LONDON, June 23. There was a sharp curve at Hebden Imdge. The train ploughed the track for 300 yards. The second carriage was shattered and the occupants shockingly injured.
