It has been decided to close tlie Ha--wera District High School for a fortnight from Monday, in lieu of the midwinter holidays. In the meantime the central hall will he repainted and the school thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Brigadier Vince, a provincial ooralriamler of the Salvation Army, will be in, Haw era at the Oddfellows' Hall tomorrow.
