AUSTRALIA v. SOMERSET.

(Received June 22, 11.30 a.m.) v LONDON, June 21 Australia won by ten wickets.

The weather was fine, and the attendance reached 1,800. The wicket was fast. Somerset, on resuming, did better thin in the first innings, and at the luncheon adjournment had lost three wicketo for 97. The best stand was made by Bisgood and Robson, who added 59 for the sixth wicket. The remaining wickets added 30. Daniell was careful, and his innings was faultless. He was in for 75 minutes. Bisgood was taken at the wickets by Webster, standing back. He was 75 minutes at the wickets, and his cutting was excellent, and he made some lucky snicks. He hit eight fours. Robson showed good cutting and driving, and in the forty minutes he was at the wickets hit six fours. Australia won without the loss of a wicket, Mayne and Kelleway hitting up the necessary score in 65 minutes. Mayne played well all round the wicket, and Kelleway showed good driving. - SOMERSET.—Second Innings.
