Somerset, on resuming, did better thin in the first innings, and at the luncheon adjournment had lost three wicketo for 97. The best stand was made by Bisgood and Robson, who added 59 for the sixth wicket. The remaining wickets added 30. Daniell was careful, and his innings was faultless. He was in for 75 minutes.
