LONDON, June 21. Sir George Reid, presiding at the Australasian dinner at the Trocadero, in proposing the toast of BritishAustralasian trade, strongly pleaded for an extension of inter-Imperial trade, and pointed out that there was a growing desire in European countries to relax restrictions interfering with the expansion of Australian and New Zealand trade with the world.
