POTATOES AND ONIONS

Potatoes: The Wanaka brought about 3,200 sacks and the Taraivera 128 sacks from the South. These shipments are much less than-was expected, and unless they increase very much we look for a bare market, as deliveries from inland are falling off. Price .£6 10s. Onions: The Tarawera brought 120 sacks from- the South, but shipments coming forward are very small. Merchants are now executing their orders from store, and these onions require careful picking over before delivery. Stocks here aro not heavy. Price 12* 10s.—Auckland Weekly News.
