WELLINGTON, June 21. The general manager of the National Bank has been advised by cable that the directors have declared a dividend of 6 per cent, for the half year and a bonus of 1 per cent, on the paid-up capital (£50,000). equalling 13 per cent, for the year ending March 31 last. A sum of £20,000 has been added to the reserve, maldng it half a million; £5000 to reserve for depreciation of investments; and £26,250 has been carried forward. The directors have further allocated £15,000 in reduction of the bank premises account and £3000 to officers 1 pension fund; and have granted a 10 per cent, bonus to the staff.
