IN BANKRUPTCY.
of creditors in the estate of Thomas Johnston, of Alton, carpenter, was held at the office of the D O A (Mr C. A. Budge) on Thursday afternoon. There were three creditors in attendance, but bankrupt was not present. Bankrupt's liabilities are set down at £378 16s 7d, and his assets at £265 jeaving a deficiency of £113. ' On the motion of Messrs Gilshnan and Aitchson, it was resolved that the freehold property consisting of sections 125- ---», block ]o, Hawera subdivision, be ofteredlf or sale by public auction through the N.Z.L. and M.A. Co. at Kakarkmea on the first convenient date, and that the matter of the reserve be left m the hands of Mr Hunger and the D.O.A.
Fhe D.O.A. was instructed to visit Alton and inspect the bankrupt's property there, and that the realisation of all property belonging to the estate be lett m the hands of Mr Hunger and the D.O.A.
