, Two aeroplanes at Douai collided -broadside on at a height of 75 feet, •crashing to the ground together. Both the airmen had their skulls and limbs fractured.

PARIS, June 20. A. dense mist caused tiie aeroplane 'collision at Douai, by which Captain .Dubois and Lieutenant Peigman lost their lives. The officers foresaw the impact, and endeavored to avoid it. Unfortunately both steered upwards. The biplanes* fell 200 feet, with their wings locked together. Peigman was killed instantly, and Dubois died as his ■wife reached the aerodrome.
