At a meeting of the Wanganui Rugby Union on Wednesday evening the manager of the representative team (Mr T. Nixon) that visited Hawera last Saturday, gave a report of the trip, and it was resolved to thank the Taranaki Rugby Union for the manner in which the team was looked after. The Riverdale Dairy Factory Co. invite applications from competent cheesemak'ers and assistant factory managers. The N.Z. Loan and M.A. Co. will sell cattle at Manaia on Tuesday, June 25, and will hold a clearing sale at Te Kiri on Thursday, June 27. Newton King will sell two choice dairy herds at the Douglas Yards on Monday, June 24. Blennerhassett and Sons advertise particulars of their mart sale on Saturday. The Oddfellows' Hall is available for dances, socials, etc.
