' BT TEMWBAPH—PBEBS ASSOHATIOR. DARGAVILLE, June 20. Messrs W. F. Massey, F. M. B. Fish«r, and J. H. Bradney were entertained at a complimentary supper after the public meeting last night. The keynote of the speeches was the solidarity of *he Reform Party, which was 38 strong, confidence in the future, and the growing strength of the reform following in the country. Replying to the argument that a member of Parliament should be, definitely on one side or the other, Mr J. G. Coates (Kaipara) declared, that he must stick to his pledge and sit as an independent member. He also combatted the idea that a member should vote against his convictions for the sake of, party. A branch of the Reform League was formed.
