NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.

+ The entries for the National Dairy Show at Palmerston North this year total something like 1,810, against 1,316 last year. With supplementary entries it is anticipated that a full advan.ce of 500 entries will be the result of the bookings. In addition to this the demand for space for exhibition has exceeded all previous demands, and the officials have before them once more the prospect of an extension to the buildings. Preparations are well for ward, and if the weather conditions are at at! favorable, Palmerston North is assured of a successful show. The two jumping events have attracted a lot of entries, and account for some 67 competitors between them. His Excellency Lord Islington opens the show at noon next Tuesday.
