Races run under the Rules of New Zealand Trotting. 2. All races optional saddle or haa--ness. 3. All horses must be registered' with the New Zealand Trotting Association prior to nomination. 4. Nominations must be accompanied by necessary fees; otherwise-they will be rejected. Also age, sex, and color of horses and colors to be worn by rider. 5. Nomination must contain last three performances (winning or losing) Ihe omission of compliance with this condition renders the nomination invalid. See Rules. 6. All disputes and objections aris- ' ing out of the racing shall be settled ; by the Judicial Committee. (See Rul»4 54.) j 7. Riders and drivers- must weigh out i/S ft. Jockey's colors and breeches (bee Rule 226.) 8. Protests must be accompanied by a depc«t of £5, and' must be in ihe | hands- of the Secretary within 10 minutes, of the decision of the race.
