[By Telegraph—Special to Star.] WELLINGTON, June 18. The Postmaster-General's scheme to bring a fish diet ivithin the reach of inland dwellers is progressing in a practical Avay. ' An officer of the Postal Department, told off specially to organise the system, has met Avith great encouragement from the trade, at least one large firm being prepared to do a good deal of adA^ertising if it is possible to easily get fish to inland customers. The English Post Office has accepted fish for carnage by post for some years. The parcel is made up in a waterproof paper, and a kit of similar arrangement will be introduced in New Zealand when the suppliers have been organised.
