A WHARF ACCIDENT.
WELLINGTON, June 18. While cement Avas being discharged from the steamer Navua, at the Queen's Wharf this afternoon, John Carr, employed as a hatchman, Avas struck by a sling of cement, which knocked his head against an iron ladder. He is in the hospital suffering from fracture of the skull, and is in a serious condition.
