At the invitation of a Stratford euchre party a party of 18 from Eltham played a friendly game with a similar number at Stratford last night. The Eltham players were the winners by 71 games to 31. -Those who played for Stratford were Messrs Wisom, Speck, Boon. Sullivan, Jordan, Hulme, Calvert, Marrett. McMahon, Wilson, Ward, King, Gibbs, Hanley, Jones, Kelly, Collins, and Butcher. For Eltham: Mpssrs Beatson, Chalmers, Nee, Rogers. Bennett, Keen, Halpin, Butcher, Hobbs, Brisco, Sim, Maxwell, Swindlehurst, Murray, A. Perrett, W. Perrett, Patten, and Moore. After the match the "Stratford team entertained the visitors at supper.' Mr Ward proposed the liealth of the Eltham party, and Mr Sim responded and proposed the health of the Stratford party.
